יונה לבנה - יונה שחורה

היונים ממלאות את כיכרות העיר, חוטי החשמל, גגות הבתים, חלונות, עצים. היונים חופשיות בזמן ובמרחב.

היונים הם הנושא העיקרי והפעיל בעבודתי. הדינמיקה מודגשת בהם מאוד: קרוב ורחוק, גדול וקטן, שילוב היונה בסביבה.

הציורים באים לעסוק בהפניית המבט למטה, לרצפה, למדרכה, לגומחת העץ, למקום שאנו פחות מסתכלים. שם מתקיים עולם שלם ואנו דורכים עליו.

השתמשתי בפלטה של צבעים אפורים היוצרים אוירה שונה עם משמעויות מיוחדות. הלך רוח שונה הנותן מעמד שקט. מצב סגרירי, קריר וחורפי. מצב המתחדד להפשטה על ידי כמה עלים, שלולית של גשם, ציור על מדרכה ועוד.

המדרכות השונות יוצרות גריד ההופך את הרקע למיפוי של הרבה קווים וסימנים שבעזרתם וביניהם מתנהלים הצבעים. גם כאשר המבט עובר מהמדרכה לשמים, עדיין נשארים הקווים והסימנים ואותה הצבעוניות.

היונה חדרה לחיינו. הפכה לחלק מהם. האדם האציל לה תכונות אנושיות. היונה הפכה לסמל: סמל השלום, יונה ועלה של זית בפיה, סמל הנאמנות, זוג יונים, יונה תמתי. נכתבו הרבה שירים בימינו ובעבר (ראה שיר השירים). הספר "יונה ונער" של מאיר שלו נותן מבט נוסף על הקשר בין היונה לאדם.

Pigeons are filling the city squares, the wires, the roofs, the windows and the trees. The Pigeons are free in time and space.

The Pigeons are the main subject in my work. The dynamic is emphasized in them: near and far, big and small, integration of the Pigeon in the surrounding.

The drawings are dealing in turning the look down, to the ground, the pavement, and the tree's niche. To the places we hardly look at. There is a whole cosmos there and we step on it.

I used a plate of gray colors that creates a different atmosphere with special meanings; Different state of mind that immerse quiet, mode of a rainy, cold weather. Mode that expressed by few leafs, puddle of rain, drawing on the pavement etc.

The different pavements create a grid that turns the background to a scan of lines and marks that in between the colors are managed. Even when the look is moved from the pavement to the sky, the lines, marks and colors are till stays.

The Pigeon was penetrate to our lives and turn to a part of them. Man implied human character to the Pigeon. The Pigeon become the symbol of peace, Pigeon and an olive leaf in here mouth, symbol of loyalty, couple of Pigeons is a perfect couple. A lot of songs were written on in the context of a Pigeon (see the Song of Songs). The book "Pigeon and a boy" of Meir Shalev gives another aspect on the relationship between the Pigeon and the man.
