יצאתי למסע בשווקים להתבוננות בדוכני הדגים ומאכלי הים. ערמות של יצורי-ים שונים בצורה, בצבע, בגודל, הנמצאים למכירה. הקסימו אותי, העושר הצבעוני, העושר הצורני, האחיזה של בעלי-החיים האלה אחד בשני, האחיזה שלהם בחיים גם מחוץ למים ללא סיכוי לשרוד, כשמכאן הדרך היא לקופסה או לצלחת.

בסדרת עבודתי זו אני מנסה להעביר את היופי, שלל הצבעים, שלל הצורות, ההרמוניה של הטבע, החיבור בין הטבע לזמן ולמקום, חיבור בין צבע וצורה.

I went out to tour the markets looking at seafood stands. Heaps of creatures, different in shape, color and size are offering for sale. Fascinated me the abundance of colors, the abundance of shapes, the grip of those creatures in each other, the grip in life, even outside the water, even when they don’t have a chance to survive and from here they will be taken into a can or to the plate.
