יצורים חסרי בית זעירים שנואים ובזויים בעניינו, הם פולשים לתחום המחיה של האדם : בפינות הבית, ארונות, ספרים, המזון, בדי הריפוד והמיטה, חיות הבית והצמחים. עוקצים ומוצצים את דמנו. אנו ממציאים דרכים לגרשם וגם להשמידם: בתרסיס, אבקות, גרגרים ועוד. הם שורדים ומתרבים ממשיכים להטריד יותר ויותר. בכל שנה באביב ובקיץ הם מתעוררים ופעילים יותר. כדאי אולי להכיר יצורים אלה גם להם תכונות מופלאות, מי יודע?

הנמלה: מקובלת בכל התרבויות כסמל חריצות בעבודה וחסכנות, "לך אל הנמלה עצל, למד דרכיה וחכם״.

העש: נמשך אל האור כמו שהנפש נמשכת אל האמת, סמל לחיפוש אחרי האמת.

העכביש: יש עליו מיתוסים רבים. הוא סמל למזל טוב במזרח, מייצג את האם הגדולה הטווה גורלות, סמל השמש, רשת הקורים דומה לשמש.

הצרעה: מסמלת סדר מצד אחד ואת הרוע מצד שני. את סמל הרוע יחסו לה המצרים.

הזבוב: גם אותו רואים כסמל הרוע, החולשה, האפסיות. באפריקה ובמצרים הקדומה היה לסמל ההתחדשות.

הדבורה: מעוררת רגשות מעורבים בגלל דובשה ועוקצה. היא סמל לאל-מוות, ללידה מחודשת, למופת וחריצות, סמל לכאב המתוק של האהבה.

בסדרת ציורים זו אני מנסה להראות את כוח ההישרדות של היצורים הזעירים הללו ההופכים לענקים בלתי מנוצחים, שקשה להשמידם. הם ענקים כמו "גוליבר" והאדם הופך לקטן, שקוף וזמני. הכול בצורה הומוריסטית ומציאותית תוך הצצה למלחמה המתמדת של האנוש בפולשים. מי ינצח? זה שם המשחק.

Little homeless creatures hated and despised in his own affairs, invaded the living space of man: the corners of the house, closets, books, food, upholstery and bed, house animals and plants. We sting and suck our blood. We invent ways to expel and exterminate them: spray, powders, grains, and more. They survive and multiply continue to bother more and more. Each year in spring and summer they wake up and are more active. It is worthwhile to know these creatures also have wonderful qualities, who knows?

The Moth: Drawn to the light as the mind is drawn to truth, a symbol of the seeking for truth.

The Spider: There are many myths about it. It is a symbol of good fortune in the East, represents the great mother who spin destinies, the symbol of the sun, the network of webs looks like the sun.

The wasp: Symbolizes order on one hand and evil on the other. The Egyptians attributed it to the symbol of evil.

The fly: It is also seen as the symbol of evil, weakness, nothingness. In Africa and in Ancient Egypt it was a symbol of renewal.

The bee: Arouses mixed feelings because of are honey and a sting. It is a symbol of Immortality, rebirth, ideal and diligence, a symbol of the sweet pain of love.

In this series of paintings, I try to show the survival power of these tiny creatures that become invincible giants, which hard to exterminate them. They are giants like "Gulliver" and man becomes small, transparent and temporary, all in humoristic and realistic way, while peeking at the constant war of the human in the invaders. who will win? That's the name of the game.
